TERMS & CONDITIONS
Authorization for Repairs
In accordance with California Business and Professions Code §9884.9, no repair work shall be performed without written or verbal authorization from the customer. Customers must sign a work order or provide approval via call/text before repairs begin.
Estimates
Per California Business and Professions Code §9884.9(a), all estimates shall include parts, labor, and applicable taxes. If additional work is required beyond the estimate, we will obtain your approval before proceeding.
Parts & Labor Warranty
All repairs are covered under a 90-day or 3,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first, unless otherwise specified. Warranty covers parts and labor only for the original repair.
Warranty does not apply if:

The vehicle is misused, neglected, or modified after service

Another shop attempts repair before we inspect the issue
California law requires us to honor written warranties, as outlined in California Civil Code §1790 (Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act).
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of service. We accept:

Debit/Credit Cards (2.5% processing fee may apply)

Business checks (must be approved in advance)
Vehicles will not be released until full payment is received.
Storage Fees
Per California Civil Code §3068, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of $25 per day for vehicles not picked up within 3 business days of repair completion. Extended storage may result in a mechanic’s lien.
Liability Disclaimer
Fateh Truck Repair is not liable for:

Pre-existing issues

Personal belongings left in the vehicle

Damage caused by unauthorized modifications

Delays caused by parts availability or supplier issues
We carry garage liability insurance as required by California law, but you are responsible for carrying your own insurance coverage.
Abandoned Vehicles
If a vehicle is left unpaid or unclaimed for more than 15 days, it may be considered abandoned and subject to a mechanic’s lien sale under California Civil Code §3071. You will be notified and given one last warning before any legal action is taken.
Towing Services
Towing is available through our third-party partners. Fateh Truck Repair is not responsible for damages incurred during towing unless the service is directly performed by our team.
Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who engages in:

Disrespectful or aggressive behavior

Fraudulent activity
-
Failure to comply with posted policies
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved under California law, in San Joaquin County. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing legal action.
